ADL Traffic & Highways Engineering Ltd have conducted a review to see if there is merit in introducing a 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the B4230 in the general vicinity of Mansell Gamage. This is the road between the A438 and the A480.
The review and consultation exercise was conducted in October/November. ADL undertook surveys and collision data analysis. They also asked Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police (Safer Roads Partnership) to give their views.
In light of the above, ADL has prepared a Briefing Note which contains their recommendations. Local residents are invited to send any comments they have to the Parish council clerk – clerk@bishopstonegrouppc-herefordshire.co.uk by 11th January as this will be discussed at the Parish Council meeting that night.
